Drug Testing of Welfare People needs a larger look

Drug Testing The Welfare Draws a lot of Scrutiny, but let's look at a macroeconomic approach to this subject.  I will leave my followers to do their own interpretation and I hope everybody picks up on this huge discrepancy of government funding or planning.  What this means is that about 1 out of 4 live in poverty in this country (meaning they can't afford to pay their bills to survive).  The question to ask is, are we paying too much into our capitalistic system that it makes it unaffordable to live in this country perhaps?  Perhaps too much government intervention and red tape creates this nuance?  So with cost of living high, how does it translate to high health care costs?  High enough that our macro system can only sustain to insure about 35% of our population...

Clearly there are underlying factors here and there is no panacea nor a right/wrong answer.  It simply needs more attention and better implementation of the ancillary factors that affect this overall picture.
